<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Over the years the Winchester Masonic Lodge has provided thousands of dollars of scholarship money to local high school students in the Winchester and Frederick County area.\u00a0\u00a0 The purpose of the scholarship is to help young people to continue their studies in higher education.\u00a0\u00a0The scholarship\u00a0award is\u00a0$2000 dollars per student<\/strong>\u00a0per year for up to four years of attendance at a college or university of the student’s choice.\u00a0 The scholarship is awarded to one student from the following high schools:<\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n The scholarship is named after Brother Isaac Newton Good who was one of our beloved Master Masons in Winchester Hiram #21 Masonic Lodge.\u00a0 Brother Good endowed a fund that could be only used for awarding scholarship funds for high school students in the Winchester and Frederick County area.\u00a0 Brother Good had a strong belief in education and helping the community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you are a\u00a0senior student or\u00a0parent of a\u00a0senior student at John Handley, James Wood, Sherando, or Millbrook High School, please click on the above link and down load the application.\u00a0 The application\u00a0should then be returned to your\u00a0High School Guidance office\u00a0<\/b>as indicated on the application\u00a0by Friday April 26th, 2024<\/strong>. Also, make sure that\u00a0Your high school transcripts and a fully completed Federal Student Aid FAFSA form accompanies the submitted\u00a0application to be considered for the scholarship. <\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n“I.
